12CH MWDM Modules Metro Wave Division Multiplexing for 5G Fronthaul

What's MWDM, Its a 12-wave multiplexing WDM for 5G construction which based on the 6 wavelengths of CWDM, shifted by 3.5nm left and right to expand to 12 waves, and is one of the cost-effective plans.

As we know, 5G puts forward higher requirements for high reliability, high performance, low cost, and easy deployment for fronthaul networks. This requires a low-cost technical solution that can quickly respond to market needs. In 5G fronthaul technology, CWDM is an earlier and more mature solution, and the basic requirement of operators for 5G fronthaul is to meet 12-wave WDM, so MWDM is proposed on the basis of CWDM. MWDM is mainly proposed under the environment of China's 5G fronthaul network.
